The Oregon Rip City Riders was started by Jeff “Lefty” Bush in the fall of 2007. Jeff was a part of the California Rip City Riders located in Petaluma, California prior to starting our group in Klamath Falls. The Rip City Riders are a group of motorcycle enthusiasts who want to help their community and show that the sometimes negative perception of motorcycle riders is not accurate. To do this the Rip City Riders, in both Oregon and California not only host local motorcycle events that bring individuals with similar interests together, but organize fundraisers that benefit worthwhile organizations in their communities.

Each year that the Rip City Riders plan fundraising events, new beneficiaries can apply to receive these funds and have their organization promoted. The Rip City Riders invite local organizations who need financial assistance to apply for a fundraising event to assist their cause. If you have a local organization who you feel is valuable to the community but could benefit from a additional funds, complete the beneficiary application and submit it to ripcityridersevents@yahoo.com or mail to Rip City Riders, P.O. Box 7180, Klamath Falls, OR 97602.

Oregon Rip City Riders are proud to support the community of Klamath Falls and we sincerely appreciate all of the sponsors and partners who are assisting us in our fundraising efforts.

How do I become a Rip City Rider or a volunteer?

Many have asked "How do I become a Rip City Rider?" Our answer is "we don't solicit new members, we absorb good friends." With that in mind, this is what we can tell you.

We welcome new people to our organization who have a passion for doing great things for our community, regardless of whether they ride. "Respect, Integrity & Perseverance" is our motto. We believe our members possess these qualities:

Respect: Consideration and appreciation for others and the state of being regarded with honor or esteem.

Integrity: A sense of honesty and truthfulness in regard to the motivations for one's actions.

Perseverance:  Commitment, hard work, patience, endurance and being able to bear difficulties calmly and without complaint.

Our Vision Statement:

To maintain our position as the Klamath basin's premiere motorcycle organization and strive to be a leading advocate for charities in our community.
