This event will benefit Citizens for Safe Schools (CFSS). CFSS was founded in 1999 by District Attorney Ed Caleb and English teacher Debbie Vought. Their motto… “Character Counts” and “Mentoring Matters.” As CFSS so eloquently quotes,“Research is clear: the human brain is wired for relationships. When young people are bonded to responsible, caring adults, powered by positive messages and given valued roles in society, they are significantly less likely to use drugs or drop out of school.” CFSS works hard to provide these mentors and character building programs but they need our help.
